Established in 1993, Westwind Farm is a family owned and operated business in Standish, Maine, specializing in high quality feed and mulch hay for the construction industry. We have a large group of producers throughout Maine, Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania who are dedicated to producing the high quality hay which allows us to continually provide our customers with hay 365 days a year. Our customer base is primarily horse owners, but we cater to the goat, sheep, alpaca, llama and cattle industry as well. We deliver in tractor trailer rigs with approximately 700-900 bales per load. We guarantee the quality of our product and hope you will consider us for your hay needs.

Delivery to seven states is free when the hay is purchased in full trailer load quantities. We have crew to stack the hay in your barns at additional cost. (See order form) Fuel costs are impacting both the production cost and the delivery costs of hay. Consequently we are continuing the fuel surcharge that was added last year. We appreciate your understanding and will continue to do our level best to take care of your hay needs.

I am sorry for the price hike, I really wanted to try to keep the price the same this year. After contacting my growers, each and every one has to have more for the hay this year. Two factors, #1 Obviously fuel costs, and #2 dry spring has drastically reduced yields. In less than two years I have suffered a $2.00 per gallon increase in fuel costs for my own trucks. This has increased costs all around including oil, tires, and fuel. At this point I cannot continue with out this increase in the price that I am selling per bale. I am keeping the fuel surcharge the same.
